The highly-anticipated event, taking place on the White House Ellipse, will feature entertainment (performance line-up TBA) and the First Family lighting the National Christmas Tree to officially start the holiday season. Various free performances continue through Jan. 1, and the tree is lit nightly from dusk until 11 pm.
